James Balog, nature photographer for National Geographic, who's photos of glaciers, in the last 10 years had his mind changed about global warming - now convinced of it from the evidence he's seen in his beautiful photographs.

He has a great lecture about his coming to this conclusion and his observations, documented in his own work - time lapsed; begins with a great discussion about art and science and the power that occurs when they come together.  Great process, great art, great science.

You may be more familiar with his work that he did back in the late 80's 90's (*i can't remember the date, but I remember when that issue of National Geographics came out...  totally life changing to see those images of endangered species on the stark white background staring out at you in all that blankness.  There was nothing else to see... nothing left to say, only things to do.
